ur NPORS N104 MEWP Boom Lift (Cherry Picker) Training Course is designed for operators working at height using boom lifts in construction, maintenance, and industrial environments.

This course covers safe operation, controls, pre-use inspections, and working at height, including safe manoeuvring of the machine both in position and whilst elevated.

Training is delivered in line with NPORS standards and includes practical operation to ensure candidates can safely and confidently use boom lifts on site.

Candidate Ratios (NPORS N108 Guidance):

  • Novice / Refresher: Max 4 candidates per machine per instructor (4:1:1)
  • Experienced Worker Test (EWT): Max 6 candidates (6:1:1)
  • Combination Testing: 3 Boom + 3 Scissor tests in one day (6 total)
